For whatever reason, Traeger's Whistlepig flew beneath everyone’s radar, and never got the attention is deserbved. It's a mix of Maple and Oak whisky barrel staves.
As is the case with other whisky barrel products, there is no discernable liquor flavoir. There is however a nice blend of sweet and nutty flavors. It's been great for for me on both pork and poultry.
It's no longer being made. And i'm not sure it's goingto be again. I have about 40lbs in stock.
So, you better get while the gettin's good! ; )
